AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): A group of Islamic world scholars has issued a joint statement in support of the defensive actions of the Islamic Republic of Iran and in condemnation of any cooperation with the aggressive American-Zionist coalition.
In this statement, they emphasized that, therefore, cooperation with the American-Zionist coalition to target Iran is one of the clearest examples of opening a path for enemy infiltration, and rulers who place their land or skies at the service of the enemy's war machine are complicit in the blood of Muslims.
A portion of this statement, which is addressed "to the noble and aware Islamic Ummah, and to the scholars, elites, and rulers of Islamic countries," reads: At this critical juncture in history, wherein the aggressive American-Zionist coalition, in clear violation of all norms and standards, has transgressed against the sanctity of one of the Islamic countries—namely, the Islamic Republic of Iran—silence in the face of this aggression is neither acceptable under Sharia nor permissible in any way.
The statement adds: We, a group of scholars from the Islamic schools of thought and servants of the luminous Sharia, based on the divine duty placed upon the people of knowledge before God Almighty and before the Islamic Ummah, declare our definitive Sharia and jurisprudential position:
First: Unequivocal condemnation of the American-Zionist aggression and the Sharia obligation to support Iran: Aggression against any part of the land of Islam is an aggression against the body of the Islamic Ummah and a direct assault on the sanctity, unity, and dignity of Muslims... The solidarity of believers and the prohibition of forsaking Muslims; defending Muslims when enemies attack is an individual obligation (wajib 'ayni).
Second: The absolute prohibition of assisting the aggressive enemy: Any form of complicity—from silent approval to any kind of assistance to the American and Zionist aggressors—is strictly forbidden (haram) according to sacred Sharia and is among the major sins... Therefore, cooperation with the American-Zionist coalition to target Iran is among the clearest manifestations of opening the path for enemy infiltration.
Third: The prohibition of opening skies and lands to the aggressors: Granting access to airspace, military bases, land and sea borders, or providing intelligence and logistical support to facilitate aggression against Iran constitutes clear instances of allegiance to hostile infidels and betrayal of God, the Prophet, and the Islamic Ummah... Rulers who place their land or skies at the service of the enemy's war machine are partners in the blood of Muslims... Any government that makes its skies or soil available for the enemy's passage or war support shares in the sin of aggression.
The statement concludes by saying: And in conclusion, we call upon all Muslim nations, and upon scholars, elites, and the media, to act with vigilance and insight, and to strive to thwart the conspiracies of the enemies whose goal is to sow discord and ignite strife. We also call upon them to stand with the Muslim nation of Iran with all their material and moral strength.
